Chrome is the right answer in a shower more often than anywhere else in the bathroom, and the reason is chemistry rather than taste. It is the hardest surface we plate, it does not care about soap, limescale or daily hot water, and it will outlast the tile around it.
It is also the safe choice in a room you cannot easily change. A shower is built into the wall. If the finish dates or wears, you are not swapping it out on a Saturday. Chrome has not looked wrong in any decade yet.
The range covers complete systems and every component separately, so a ceiling head can be matched to a concealed diverter, a hand shower and a slide bar without hunting across brands. Every piece is solid brass underneath, which is what stops plating lifting at the joints after a few years of steam.
