Towel Rings

A ring is for the hand towel, and it goes beside the basin rather than near the bath. That is the whole distinction, and it is why most bathrooms want both a ring and a bar rather than choosing between them.

It also solves the wall a bar cannot. Beside a basin there is rarely 18 inches of clear run, and a bar crammed into a short wall looks wrong before anyone touches it. A ring needs about six inches and reads as deliberate.

These are solid brass under the plating and mount to the wall. Each one has a matching towel bar, robe hook and toilet paper holder in the same finish, which is the point of buying accessories from one range instead of assembling them.

Mount it within arm's reach of the faucet. The commonest mistake is putting the ring where it looks balanced rather than where a wet hand can actually get to it.
