Nickel is the finish people reach for when chrome feels too cold and gold feels too loud. It carries a faint warmth that chrome does not have, so it sits comfortably next to timber, travertine and warm plaster where chrome would look clinical.
Brushed is the one most rooms want. The grain hides water marks and fingerprints, which makes it the most practical finish we sell in a hard water area. Polished nickel is the quieter cousin of polished chrome, reflective but a shade softer and warmer. Satin sits between them.
All three go over solid lead free brass and are finished in Italy. Nickel also ages more gracefully than most plated finishes, taking on a slight patina at the handles rather than wearing through. Spout reach and spout height are listed on every faucet, and free samples are available.
