Our glam bathroom sinks are the decorative heart of the MaestroBath catalog: 83 basins finished in gold leaf, silver leaf, hand cut crystal and Murano glass, designed and handmade in Italy across the Prestigio, Exclusiva and Inlinea lines. These are not sinks that sit quietly in a scheme. They are the reason the scheme exists.
Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf Vessel Sinks
Twenty four of these basins carry a gold leaf finish and twenty carry silver leaf, applied by hand so the sheet lines remain visible under the glaze. Gold leaf reads warm against travertine, walnut and cream marble. Silver leaf is the cooler answer and holds its own next to grey stone and polished chrome. Twenty three basins are finished in black and eighteen in white for anyone who wants the shape without the metal.
Crystal and Glass Basins
Eighteen designs in this collection use crystal and thirteen use glass, including hand blown Murano. A glass vessel is the one basin type where the drain and the mounting ring are visible, so they are finished to the same standard as the bowl. Glass also changes with the light in a way a ceramic basin never does, which is why it works in a windowless powder room lit by a single fixture.
Round, Oval and Rectangular Vessel Sinks
Forty three of the 83 are vessel sinks that sit on top of the counter. Eighteen are round, fourteen are oval and nine are rectangular. Eleven designs are undermount for a scheme where the counter should be the visible surface. Round suits a narrow counter and a single vanity, rectangular suits a long run with two basins, and oval is the compromise that flatters most rooms.
Specifying a Vessel Sink Correctly
A vessel adds its full height above the counter, which means a standard 32 inch vanity plus a 6 inch basin puts the rim at 38 inches. Either lower the vanity or accept the height deliberately. Pair a vessel with a tall single hole faucet or a wall mount, and confirm the drain type before ordering, because most vessels take a pop up without overflow.
Prices run from 657 dollars to 5,995 dollars, with sixteen basins quoted individually because the leaf or the glass is applied to order. Browse the full collection above, and contact MaestroBath for trade pricing, a custom finish or help matching a basin to a faucet height.
