Black is the largest color group in the sink range, and it is the one where the material matters most, because black in crystal, black in stone and black in blown glass are three completely different objects.
Cast crystal in black is dense and reflective, and it changes as the light in the room moves. Natural stone in black is honed and matte and absorbs everything, which is the opposite effect from the same color. Murano black often carries silver or gold worked into it while the glass is hot, so it reads as black only from across the room.
What they share is that a black basin sets the room rather than fitting into it. Against white tile it is the strongest contrast available, and on a dark counter it disappears into a single continuous plane. Both are deliberate choices and they are not similar.
Every sink here is a vessel unless the title says otherwise, so it needs a flat counter and a faucet with enough spout height to clear the rim. Both figures are on every faucet page.
