Grey is the finish for a bathroom that wants a basin rather than a centerpiece. It carries more presence than white and none of the commitment of black, and it is the one neutral that sits comfortably with both warm and cool hardware, so it does not force the faucet decision.
The range here runs from a pale smoke through gun metal and brushed dark steel to a taupe leaning warm. The metallic greys behave like metal and belong with a brushed faucet. The stone greys behave like stone and belong on a timber or marble counter.
In daily use grey is the most forgiving finish on this page. Water marks, dust and the film hard water leaves all register less on a mid tone than at either end of the range.
