It also has the option of Yale or Patent keyhole covers or thumb-turns for bathrooms.

Door Specifications:

Door Type: Our door hardware and lock systems are intended for interior doors. They can also be used on exterior doors, however, exterior locks/deadbolts will need to be provided by another manufacturer.

Door Condition: Our door hardware is intended for Non Pre-drilled doors. If you have pre-drilled doors, the size of our rosettes, at 2”, will not cover the standard 2 ⅛” pre-drilled holes and our interior adapter with spring assist is smaller than that standard bore hole.

Backset: The backset is the distance from the leading edge of the door to the center of the bore hole for the door knob/lever. This is determined by the length of the latch or by the pre-drilled hole. Our standard backset is 2.3”. For pre-drilled doors, these will not work with the standard US backsets of 2 ⅜” and 2 ¾”.

Types of Handle/Lock Sets:

Half Dummy: This is a single knob/lever surface mounted to an unlockable door and is used to push/pull a door, such as a closet, that doesn’t need a knob/lever on the interior. These are typically used with a ball catch at the top of the door. No latch or interior mechanism is included.

Full Dummy: This functions the same as a Half Dummy but includes a knob/lever on both sides that is connected through the center of the door. This is typically used for french doors in interior hallways or separating living spaces. A push/pull mechanism only, no latch or lock is included

Passage: This is a functioning but not locking set of knobs/levers mounted to doors such as walk-in closets or pantries. A standard tubular latch is included.

Push-pin Privacy: This lockset is typically used in bedrooms and bathrooms and has a push-pin on the inside of the door which is released when the occupant turns the door knob/lever to exit. There is an emergency egress hole on the outside which can unlock the door in an emergency situation.

Thumb-turn Privacy: Also called “Mortise bolt privacy”. This lockset has 2 latches, a passage for the main knob/lever with an additional latch above or below with a thumbturn lock.

5 Ways to Incorporate Gold Door Handles into Your Existing Decor

Gold finishes are making a stylish comeback, and gold door handles are at the forefront of this trend. Whether you’re aiming for a subtle update or a dramatic transformation, swapping out your old hardware can immediately uplift any room. Below are five ways to incorporate gold door handles into your existing décor while maintaining a cohesive look.

1. Pair with Neutral Tones

If your walls or furniture favor whites, creams, or soft grays, gold door handles can add a warm, inviting touch. By contrasting against a neutral backdrop, the handles become an understated focal point. This approach works well in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired interiors, where each element is deliberately chosen to stand out.

2. Embrace Bold Accent Colors

Looking to make a statement? Combine gold hardware with deep, rich hues like navy blue, emerald green, or charcoal black. These vibrant shades create a dramatic contrast, emphasizing the metallic sheen of the handles. In a hallway or bedroom, pairing gold door handles with bold accent walls or furniture pieces can instantly elevate the entire space.

3. Coordinate with Existing Hardware

It’s essential to maintain harmony throughout your home. If you already have brass or gold-toned light fixtures, cabinet pulls, or curtain rods, make sure your door handles align with them. This coordination ties the space together and gives each room a unified, polished feel. Even mixing metals can work if you stick to a consistent design strategy—just limit the palette to two or three complementary finishes to avoid visual clutter.

4. Play with Texture and Materials

Gold isn’t just about shine. Today’s handles come in various finishes—from brushed and matte to glossy and hammered textures. For instance, pairing a brushed gold handle with reclaimed wood doors can create a modern yet rustic vibe. Meanwhile, sleek, polished handles can complement contemporary glass or lacquered doors.

5. Highlight Architectural Details

If your home features decorative molding, wainscoting, or other architectural elements, use gold door handles to accentuate these details. The metallic finish can draw attention to unique craftsmanship, turning ordinary doors into design statements. For an even more cohesive effect, consider adding matching hinges or keyhole plates in the same gold finish.

ConclusionIncorporating gold door handles into your existing décor doesn’t require a full-scale renovation. By thoughtfully pairing metals, choosing complementary colors, and highlighting key design elements, you can create a cohesive look that feels both modern and timeless. With so many handle styles and finishes available, there’s no better time to embrace this luxurious yet versatile trend in home décor.
